"Traditional Oval Braided Rug"
Students learn how to braid a continuous 2'x3' oval rug. (Note: Hand & basic straight stitch sewing machine skills are required)

"Adding Braids to Rug Hooking"
Students need to come to class with a project already hooked or near completion.

Students learn how to braid a continuous chair pad or continue on and make a round rug.

"Needle Felting"
Students learn the basics of needle felting. Three-dimensional needle felting kit or a landscape needle felting kit will be available for student's to select from.
Tuition: $55.00 (Includes instruction, needle, foam block & wool whisps.)

"Punch Needle Embroidery"
Student's learn the basics of punch needle embroidery and can choose a pattern from the store to work on in class.

Special Rug Hooking Workshop with McGown Certified Rug Hooking Instructor, Susan Jankowski
This is a great class for rug hookers wanting to enhance their rug hooking skills! Class objective is to hook a barn using swatches to create the illusion of shadows and roundness.
Tuition: $150.00 (covers all 3-days) Class size is limited, so sign up soon!
Cost of supplies: $75.00 (and is paid to the instructor on the day of class)
Supply fee covers: Pattern, wool for the barn, silo & sheep. Other wool for sky, grass & trees will also be available for purchase, from the instructor, if desired. In order to achieve the detail on this pattern it is mostly hooked in a #5 cut width.

"Adding Braids to Rug Hooking"

November 15, 2025 & February 21, 2026 - Saturday (10am - 3pm)
"Traditional Rug Hooking - FOOTSTOOL"
Students should have some rug hooking experience prior to enrolling in this class. This is a two-part class.
Students will have 3-months to hook their footstool pattern.
Part 1: (November 15th): We will discuss the styles of footstools, pattern choices, color planning & techniques for hooking footstools.
Part 2: (February 21, 2026): Students should come to this class with their footstool pattern completely hooked. The instruction for this day will be on how to assemble & secure the hooked pattern onto the footstool. (Note: In February, the weather will be monitored to ensure safe travel for students.)
Tuition: $60.00 (covers both days of class) plus supplies - price varies depending on footstool, pattern & wool that is chosen.
December 6th - Saturday (10am - 3pm)
"Needle Felting using Artfelt Paper"
Students will learn how to use Artfelt Paper which incorporates needle & wet felting in a project. All levels of felting experience are welcome.
Note: This class will be held in the lower level of the store which involves stairs.
